Database article in BAMBED!

Last summer I decided that, after seven-plus years of working intermittently on the database, I should try to publish something about it in a peer-reviewed journal.

Now I am pleased to report that the January/February 2012 issue of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education (BAMBED) includes my contribution The SingAboutScience.org database: an educational resource for instuctors and students. The publisher’s website limits access to journal subscribers, but if you’d like a copy of the article for yourself, please email me (crowther@u.washington.edu).

Another article, addressing more general issues in teaching and learning science through music, will appear in the Spring 2012 issue of CBE-Life Sciences Education.
