Greg is a Lecturer at the Bothell campus of the University of Washington. In 2004 he created a database called MASSIVE (Math And Science Song Information, Viewable Everywhere). This database has now been incorporated as a central part of the SingAboutScience.org website. He has also published several peer-reviewed papers on teaching STEM with music, with more currently in the pipeline.

ADVISORY BOARD Tobias Baskin, Ph.D.
Tobias studies the physics and molecular biology of plant growth and morphogenesis. He is also interested in relationships among science, visual art, and poetry.

Kate Clark, Ph.D.
Kate was a Senior Consultant on the NSF project. She is part of the Technical Support team at Bio-Rad Laboratories, thus bringing usability expertise to SingAboutScience.org. Her background also includes experience in technical writing and website design.

Katie Davis, Ed.D.
Katie is an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington's Information School, where she studies the role of digital media technologies in adolescents' academic, social, and moral lives.

Brian Glanz
Brian is a Co-Founder and Director of the Open Science Federation (OSF).

Norm Milstein
Norm is a math and science teacher whose offbeat approach to education includes songs and skits.

Dave Nachmanoff, Ph.D.
Dave is a touring musician whose songwriting output includes music created in collaboration with students and community groups.

Steve Nakazawa Hewitt
Steve has expertise in scientific illustration and serves as SingAboutScience.org's art consultant. He also supervises a protein production lab at the University of Washington.

Wendy Silk, Ph.D.
Wendy was the Principal Investigator of National Science Foundation grant no. 0956196, which partially supported the development of this website between 2010 and 2012. She is also a plant biologist at the University of California, Davis, where her course offerings include "Earth, Water, Science and Song," a course where students demonstrate their mastery of scientific concepts by writing and performing songs about them.
