Sorry to be posting this later than usual; I’m currently overwhelmed with grant-writing responsibilities. Anyway, The Guardian had a nice article yesterday titled The MIT Factor: 150 Years of Maverick Genius. Among other facts, it noted that 85% of MIT students are studying science and engineering, way above the country-wide rate of 15%.
So what sort of song might we listen to on the occasion of MIT’s sesquicentennial? Well, there’s the Engineers’ Drinking Song, but that’s not especially scientific. How about some MIT professors singing about relativity instead?
