Science outreach season

For whatever reason, spring seems to be the season for science outreach events, at least for me. Tomorrow I’ll have a booth at the University of Washington’s Brain Awareness Week open house. Then I’ll be at the Yakima Science & Engineering Festival on March 26-27, Paws-On Science on April 5-6, Totem Middle School‘s STEM Night on April 25, and the Seattle Science Festival on June 8.

At all of these events I’ll be flying the banner, both figuratively and literally. Thanks to Steve Nakazawa Hewitt for creating the eye-catching banner shown below! I look forward to seeing what K-12 students and their teachers and families think of our new online quizzes.
